A St. Benedict wall crucifix with black enamel and gold trim. 8" x 4" in size. Behind the Holy Corpus is the front of the St. Benedict medal with the Latin words: Eius in obitu nostro praesentia muniamur! (May we be strengthened by his presence in the hour of our death!). On the back of the crucifix, is back of the St. Benedict medal with initial letters of a rhythmic Latin prayer: Crux sacra sit mihi lux! Nunquam draco sit mihi dux! (May the holy cross be my light! May the dragon never be my guide!). St. Benedict is known as a great source of protection from the evil one.
