The Little Flowers & The Life of St. Francis

The Fioretti, or Little Flowers of St. Francis, is a spiritual comentary made up of a series of stories and anecdotes from the Life of St. Francis of Assisi and his followers.

St. Bonaventure composed the second book in this volume - The Life of St. Francis. He went to Assisi for the purpose of consulting documents and to interrogate the surviving companions of St. Francis in order to produce the definitive and authoritative biography that describes St. Francis' life, miracles and vocation.
