This St. Joseph Children's Picture book captures the importance of preparing our hearts for the celebration of Christmas.  The Jesse Tree is named from Isaiah 11:1: "A shoot will spring forth from the stump of Jesse, and a branch out of his roots."  It is a way to understand the importance of the Advent and Christmas Seasons by looking at the Salvation history from the Old Testament and on.  Includes a picture of the Jesse Tree and a description regarding each event in Salvation history that prepared the world for the coming of the Savior.
