5 Minutes with Jesus: A Christmas Story

The Child Jesus answers Michael's prayer and meets with him personally on Christmas Eve. Both Michael and Jesus are 10 years old and share "five minutes" together, each minute a different adventure of faith and charity to different individuals in different parts of the world. Each "minute" contains an element of goodness and reflection regarding the Child Jesus' closeness in people's lives. At the end of each encounter, Michael is surprised to notice that only one minute has passed. The final minute leaves Michael with a mission that he must continue once the two have separated. A prayer concludes this Christmas tale. The idea for the story came from students at the Irish Institute of Rome.

5 Minutes with the Child Jesus is a heart warming story that brings children and adults closer to the Child Jesus.  Many lessons can be taken from this tale including that of how our Lord uses us as His hands and feet to accomplish His will on Earth.
